Day 1

Day 1- Siem Reap Arrival

Welcome to Cambodia -  Siem Reap, the treasures of the Kingdom of Cambodia. 

We will take short rest before taking the light city tour with first stop at the East Mebon, a 10th Century temple used to be in the middle the waters of the large Oriental Baray reservoir then to Neak Poan was supposed to be a symbol of the Universe. We visit Preah Khan built in 1191 where the king fought a crucial battle against the Cham. We would have a welcome dinner with Apsara, the traditional Khmer dance - drama performance, which are not merely dance but also telling a story. 

Overnight in Siemreap.

Day 2

Day 2- Angkor Complex Exploration

Start off your day easy with the small and charming Pre Rup Temple. Next up, you’ll visit the highly-intricate pink coloured Banteay Srei Temple – which translates beautifully to “The Citadel of Women”. You’ll be hungry after that long drive, so settle into one of the restaurants nearby, and dig into some traditional Cambodian curries, soups and stir-fries. Spend your afternoon exploring the completely unique East Mebon, Ta Som and Preah Khan Temples, all built for different reasons at different times. Keep an eye out for the detail in these ancient walls. Around 4pm, settle in for a nice A/C ride back to the city! Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

Day 3

Day 3 - Angkor Complex Exploration

First up is a visit to the Angkor Thom complex. Inside these great walls you’ll explore the fascinating beauty of Bayon and the world-famous Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider) Temple. Next up, satisfy your hunger at one of the many local restaurants within the Angkor Complex with some tasty Cambodian eats!

Your last two stops will be at the enormous and beautiful Angkor Wat, followed by a beautiful sunset view from the top of Phnom Bakheng. The temples on this tour are among the biggest in the Angkor Complex and Phnom Bakheng has a 300 person limit at the peak, so we keep the temple count small to ensure enough time at each marvelous stop!

Day 4

Day 4- Siem Reap - Sihanouk Ville Islands

Breakfast at hotel. At leisure till you transfer to the airport for departure flight to Sihanoukville. Pick up from the airport to by car without guide to boat pier for depart to Koh Rong. Free with your leisure time. Overnight in Koh Rong.

Day 5-- Sihanoukville Island - Leisure Time

Day 6 - Sihanoukville Island - Phnom Penh

Breakfast at hotel. We take the boat trip to Sihanoukville. On arrival, pick up by our local driver and transfer to Phnom Penh (4 hour driving). Overnight in Phnom Penh. 

 

Day 7

Day 7 - Phnom Penh City Tour - Departure

This morning, you will visit the impressive colorful Khmer-style Royal Palace complex build in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom. Nearby is Silver Pagoda (the emerald Buddha temple), where contain plenty of Buddha Statues decorated and made by gold, diamond, gemstone and silver. We visit Choeung Ek Museum, where between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants detained and tortured at S-21 were transported for extermination. Leave the relics of the bad history of Cambodia if time permits we will go shopping around Russian market, enjoy the bustling daily activities of the locals before transferring to the airport for your onward flights.
